Verification Badge Policy

Effective Date: 12th of May, 2026

By purchasing a verification badge, you agree to the terms below. This policy is an extension of Skippa's Terms of Service.

1. What you're getting

A verification badge is a cosmetic checkmark shown on your profile. It confirms that you've verified your identity on Skippa. It doesn't give you any special privileges, algorithmic advantage, or protection from moderation decisions.

2. Payment & refunds

Payments are handled by PayPal. Your badge is applied to your account immediately after payment is confirmed.

Because the badge is a digital item that activates instantly, the purchase is non-refundable once applied — by completing checkout, you're explicitly requesting immediate fulfilment and acknowledge that this uses your right to cancel under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(m)).

Your statutory rights are not affected where applicable law does not permit this waiver. If you're in the EU or EEA and you believe the badge was not delivered as described, contact us at support@skippa.cc and we'll review your case.

3. When your badge can be removed

We can remove your badge at any time, without a refund, if you:

For example: If you buy a badge and set up your profile to look like a well-known creator or brand you're not affiliated with, your badge will be removed and your account disabled — no refund will be issued.

4. Free badges

Skippa may grant verification badges to certain users for free at our discretion. A purchased badge carries the same meaning and visibility as a free one — buying a badge does not make it more exclusive.

5. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, Skippa is not liable for losses connected to your verification badge — including if it's removed, unavailable, or doesn't meet your expectations. If we are found liable for anything, our total responsibility to you is capped at the amount you paid for the badge.

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for our own fraud or negligence causing personal injury.

6. Disputes

Your local consumer protection laws still apply. If you're in the EU or EEA and have a dispute about a content moderation or account decision, you may raise it with a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under DSA Article 21. A list of certified bodies is available at digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu.
