Effective Date: 12th of May, 2026
Welcome to Skippa. By using this platform, you're agreeing to these terms — they form a binding contract between you and Skippa. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Skippa. If you're in the EU or EEA, the minimum age is 16. If you're under the age of legal majority in your country, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
If we find that an account belongs to someone below these age limits, we'll disable it immediately and remove the associated data.
You need a valid email address and a password to register. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share your login with others.
We collect your IP address and device information to prevent abuse and protect platform security — see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Skippa is a platform for 16:9 short-form video. You keep ownership of everything you post. By uploading content, you grant Skippa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute it for as long as it remains on the platform. You confirm that you have all necessary rights to grant this licence — including rights to any third-party material in your content.
The following content is never permitted on Skippa:
We can remove content or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe our rules or applicable laws have been broken, or to protect the safety of the platform and its users.
When we restrict or remove your content or account, we'll tell you why — including which rule or law it relates to, and whether the decision was made by a person or an automated system. This is required under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).
You can appeal any moderation decision by emailing support@skippa.cc. We'll review appeals fairly and respond in a reasonable time. We can't guarantee reversals, but every appeal is reviewed.
EU/EEA users: Under the Digital Services Act (Article 21), you also have the right to take a content moderation dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body — independently of our internal appeals process. A list of certified bodies is maintained by the European Commission at digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu. You can also report DSA violations to Romania's Digital Services Coordinator.
Skippa uses an algorithmic recommendation system to decide which videos to show users. The main factors are: how users engage with content (likes, comments, shares), how recently the video was posted, and general platform trends. Boosted videos (see our Video Boosting Policy) are given temporary additional weight in this system — they are not labelled as ads, but their ranking is influenced by the payment.
Skippa is provided as-is and as-available. We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation. We're not responsible for content posted by other users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Skippa. Nothing here removes liability that can't legally be excluded — such as liability for our own fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. EU/EEA users retain all statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your actions on the platform, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover any resulting losses, costs, and legal fees we reasonably incur. This doesn't apply to the extent that applicable law prevents it, including EU consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you're a consumer in the EU or EEA, you also keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer laws — these terms can't override them.
For any disputes about content moderation decisions, EU/EEA users may use a certified out-of-court settlement body under DSA Article 21 (see Section 4 above). For other disputes, you're welcome to contact us directly at support@skippa.cc before pursuing other remedies.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in advance — by email or through the platform — giving you a reasonable opportunity to review them before they take effect. Continuing to use Skippa after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms, subject to your statutory rights.
